The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and study Paul's writings to apply the 'TO!"

- Thanks Be To

for "That Which
Is Perfect"
|
I Corinthians
13:8-13: Charity never faileth: but whether
there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall
cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in
part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come,
then that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake
as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became
a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly;
but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as
also I am known. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but
the greatest of these is charity.
This is either
the King James Bible - 1611 or it is Jesus Christ himself.
If it is Jesus Christ himself,
then all in verse 8
is still all in gear - but in part, with no 'single' Bible.
-
Take your pick and believe what you
want - follow your heart, your feelings, your preacher, your teacher, your
channel, your book and favorite author, etc.
-
Pray for power in your prayer, confess
a few sins, pray for healing, pray for wisdom from above, pray for understanding
all based on the previous list...
If it is the King James Bible,
then learn about rightly dividing.
-
That Bible is perfect - complete!
-
It has no errors, no contradictions,
no false teachings - but be prepared for what it will show you.
-
And if it is the King James Bible, then
all in verse 8 has
been done away with today!
It is that simple!
(no long study needed
- just believe, read, watch and hang on!)
I believe without a shadow of
doubt that it is referring to the King James Bible.
-
I have heard other answers, and they
are worthless or make no sense - nice tries!
-
That bible will help you put away childish
things and quit speaking as a child; you will no longer understand as a
child; and you no longer think like a child!
-
A child is one who is "tossed
to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight
of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" Ephesians
4:14
-
The King James Bible speaks the truth
in love; it enables us to grow up into
him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Ephesians 4:15
Then - they saw what God showed
to them - in part - 'darkly'...
-
but then - today - we will see him face
to face.
-
Note: ALL examples of meeting God face
to face was all done through words!
-
but then - today - Paul now knows -
-
and we can know Paul - it is ALL written
down!
Then - it was charity being the
rule - but today, it is the King James Bible rightly divided!
-
II Timothy
2:15,16 - Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase
unto more ungodliness.
"If
you were to take Jesus Christ and turn him into words,
you'd get
the King James Bible;
if you
were to take the KJB and turn it into flesh,
you'd get
Jesus Christ,"
It
is the sharper than any two-edged sword of the Spirit
-
Ephesians 6:17
-
Hebrews 4:12,13
It is the
word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe
- I Thessalonians 2:12
It is Romans
9:17 - For the Scripture saith unto Pharaoh...
It is Galatians
3:8 - And the Scripture, FORESEEING...,
preached before the Gospel unto Abraham...
It is Psalms
138:2 - ...for thou hast magnified
thy word above all thy name.
My
thanks that when I seek these things, I can find them in and through my
King James Bible.

-
Luke 2:47:
And
all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
-
Luke 24:45:
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
-
rightly dividing
eliminates private interpretation and gives that understanding we are seeking
-
I Corinthians
1:19: For it is written, I will destroy
the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of
the prudent.
-
Ephesians 1:18:
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what
is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints,
-
Colossians
1:9: For this cause we also, since the
day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might
be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
-
II Timothy
2:7: Consider what I say; and the Lord
give thee understanding in all things.
-
II Thessalonians
3:3: But the Lord is faithful, who shall
stablish you, and keep you from evil.
This
last verse is applicable in the future, of course, because the Son of God
will have come upon their flesh, etc. But it sure does support I
Corinthians 13:10 in the same manner through
that King James Bible!
-
I John 5:20:
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding,
that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even
in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Final note
of thanks:
-
My King James
Bible needs no interpretation.
-
Rightly dividing
clears the air for me. I know what is TO me and FOR me - it suddenly
becomes very simple.
-
There is no need
for any 'interpretation' today - it is clearly written down.
-
Mopdern interpretations
have brought about 500 more Bible 'versions' into the market place!
-
Interpretation
only becomes an issue during the Tribulation!
-
II Peter 1:20:
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private
interpretation.
-
Peter is not TO
me today. It is TO them, tomorrow!
