Paul’s life was exemplary. He was not ashamed to tell us to follow him. He told the Philippians that whether they learned, received, heard or saw these things in his life, they were to do them. From him we can learn how to be content [v.11], abased [v.12], abundant [v.12], full [v.12], or hungry [v.12]. From him we see how to abound [v.12], suffer need [v.12] and do all things through Christ [v.13].
